Had issues with the door dash driver as the order was not delivered. However, the staff at the store were so accommodating and helpful in trying to locate the missing order and helped resolve by preparing the order again free of charge for us to pick up at the store instead. wonderful customer service!

Normally I have no issue with playa bowls but my bowl was barely full and didnt have much fruit. There was also barely any granola and lm just disappointed because I spend a lot of money here

I'm giving this specific store (in Long Branch, NJ) 1 star, but Playa Bowls as a whole is a 5 star for me. This is why I chose 3 stars (an average).
Also, absolutely no issues with my Doordasher David, he was polite, and timely.
I have been a customer of Playa Bowls since their first location in Belmar in 2015. That being said, I have been a loyal customer, purchasing at least 3 bowls a month at the Lacey Township and Tom's River NJ locations. I have never had the issues that I did with this specific location. Not only did they not allow specific instructions on DoorDash, although every other location does, when I called right after placing the order to give a specific instruction (granola on the side), they repeated it back to me, have it on the receipt of the instructions, but STILL PUT the granola on my bowl. I have troubles with eating the whole bowl in one shot, so the granola usually gets soggy which is why I ask for it on the side. Also, now this $12 bowl is going to have to have to be thrown out as it will be ruined if refreezed with the granola. Again, I've had years of years with this company and I've never been more disappointed with a specific store. Will never be ordering from or returning to this Long Branch location again.
Besides that, the part of the bowl that I was able to eat, was flavorful and tasty. Just a shame I have to throw out half of it.
