Food is always really good. The Flan is smooth and tasty. The Bread Pudding is so delicious, with a few small pieces of fruit in it. It's custardy and moist, never dry. The Tinga Tofu Torta Tinga Tofu Torta Sandwich is my favorite. The tofu has a yummy rub/marinade. The only thing that would improve it would be more guacamole. But isn't that always the case? My husband has gotten a variety of their other dishes and likes them all. He especially likes the Barbados Mac Pie. It has a little heat to it, but not that much. The flavor is great, but it's a little too cheesy/rich for me to make a meal out of it. However, that's impossible for my husband (and lots of other people).

The Sweet Plantains, Drum Pan Jerk BBQ, and Baja Saba Fish Tacos were good. The quacamole was fine but smaller than we expected for the price. The Salvador Molly Hot Tamale with chicken was disappointing--so dry! It was the worse (and most expensive) tamale we can recall getting at any restaurant. Another disappointing dish was the Bulgogi Beef Tacos---it was so overwhelmingly salty we couldn't eat it without adding a bunch of vegetables; and even then it was still hard to swallow. We haven't eaten at Salvador Molly in some time and we don't think we'll be back for awhile.
