The Sandwich was Big and Huge!! Just the way I like It. I Really Didn't want it to end so filling. Kudos Kudos to the whole entire staff,, It was made with Love. The Two Pickles add a nice touch along with my Banana Cream Pie...Super Duper Fantastic Dinner.

I’m giving 5 stars for value and quality despite have some minor concerns.I almost didn’t order as the price seemed somewhat higher than other merchants,But what Sarges doesn’t communicate to their competitive disadvantage is that one order could easily feed 2 or 3 people due to their generous high quality portions.My only criticism is the cream cheese was a bit hard and not packaged separately also the red onions were a bit soggy from refrigeration storage.Two beautiful high quality bagels were perfectly toasted to perfection and delivered still warm.
Highly recommended and especially if you are 2 that are dining
Not sure how their corned beef and pastrami compare to other iconic delis in NYC but prob worth a try

We ate at Sarge's twice on our most recent New York adventure. It was that good!
The food there is so, so good! Very fresh, generous portions. We had their vegetarian and regular burgers with the crinkle cut and sweet potato fries. We also had their chicken salad and turkey sandwiches.
Their homemade cheesecake is the best in New York! We tried both the oreo and reese's slices! Huge and extremely dense pieces that were so amazing!
Inside, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual and we could easily talk to each other without it being too noisy.
Service was kind, friendly and attentive.
Highly recommend Sarge's!

I paid $6.95 for what I thought was a slice of key lime pie. Instead, it came in a mini tart tin. The crust was too thick, and there was barely any pie filling.

tuna sandwich was enormous. so much tuna it was coming out the side of the bread. pastrami very lean just like asked for. knish tasty even without mustard.
