Expensive but amazing cut rolls! Great quality fish and sushi rice. I got fatty tuna, yellowtail, and salmon.

Why is it so small? Very little fish in the rolls. Absolutely way too expensive for the amount you get. It's good fish, but will probably order from somewhere else.

I have lived in SF for 12 years and this is some of the least impressive sushi I have eaten. It pains me to write this because I love Saru's location in Noe and highly recommend it. We ordered the yellowtail, fatty tuna, salmon, and mushroom rolls. Each fish roll seemed like they took a small, single piece of sashimi and divided it into many rolls. There was hardly any fish and the fish that was included was not good. If we had eaten at a restaurant and been served these rolls I would have asked for my money back. There are far better options in SF at this price point. Save your money.

I was super excited to order from here because it's been recommended to me a lot. Like other reviews I was very surprised at the portions of the rolls, very tiny and for the price I was very taken a back. As for the taste they were delicious.

Everything in Choose Your Own Box Set was 🔥. The fish was super fresh and the rice was well seasoned. Only gripe is that the rolls were kinda small. Enjoyed every bite but was still hungry after.
