Scornovacca’s (Restaurant & Bakery) is near and dear to our hearts. It's the newest of all of the Scorno's locations, opened in 2022. This location is extra special as we have our full scale Bakery op…
A lot of food! Bruschetta (5) was my favorite of the dishes I ordered. Im impressed that it held up to the amount of balsamic with the drive! Yum!
Italian Grinder Sandwich was classic, nothing mind blowing but ever tasty. Wish there was salad dressing options for the side salad, it came without anything.
Chicken Parmesan (Romano) is going to be my lunch tomorrow but looked delicious!

I've ordered twice in the last two months, so it's not like I'm not giving second chances. Pizza was not good, lotza motza for $9 way better. Grinders ok but soggy and just not great. Grazianos sausage and some hoagie buns and I could do better.

Grinder was good, roast beef was ok but not as goodas the French dip from the past. For the pizza, an $8.99 Lotza Motza would have been better. Too many mushr on the combo, tasted like I eating a mushroom pizza.

Loved Scorno's but haven't eaten there for years let alone know they had one in Urbandale. They didn't disappoint. The quality was exceptional, just like it was at the original Scorno's on the southside. The pizza, fried cauliflower and homemade mozzarella sticks are wonderful!

Food was exceptionally bland. Was disappointed. Whoever was cooking did not salt anything. At all. The bruschetta was $16 for five small hard crusty pieces of bread with sub par toppings. Cavatelli was ok but again very bland. If I am leaving a review it's bad. I normally will let most things go but heads up a little seasoning goes a long way.
