Everything was absolutely delicious. I travel to Helena occasionally for work, and always make time to eat at Shellie's. The Slice of Cake is the lemon creme cake and it's amazing. Arrived cold, in a little disarray, but didn't impact quality and was probably my fault while opening the bad. The Mushroom Swiss Burger and fries are on point. Delicious crispy fries and the burger had everything I wanted. I just wish there was an option for extra lettuce! For the Side Options, I ordered fry bread. The flavor was great, exactly how fry bread should taste. However, it was a little undercooked and not slightly crispy as it should be, with the nice brown color. All in all, great meal, nothing worth taking a star away for. And two cups of ranch?! Fantastic.

Food was absolutely wonderful! And they even sent a couple sides of ranch 😁 (wish they offered sides of ranch or other condiments on their menu) the only complaint with the order is the portion size of the cheese curds were really small and almost $13.00- otherwise everything was perfect!

The bread is horrible an au jus is much too rich. I would not order this from here again. The bread was lighly grilled but it is obvious that not much effort in quality was put into the sandwich. A restaurant either makes a good French dip or they dont . These guys dont.

We are big fans of Shelly's. We go at least once a month, sometimes more. We have never had any complaints about anything. The service is always great, food is greasy-but that's what we need sometimes. Being on the opposite side of town, we decided to try doordash instead of driving into town. The driver was fabulous and very communicative. The food was not it. Not even close to it. The portions were so unbelievably small it was laughable. We literally all opened our boxes and burst out laughing. I had to double check that we didn't accidentally order off the kids menu. We had three very VERY small Chicken Strips and a handful of soggy tater tots. The Salisbury Steak was no better. A TV dinner from banquet had more food in it. It wasn't cheap, we paid almost 20.00 per person before delivery for 4 people and got what looked like 12.00 in food total. We got our green beans in the same container Jell-O shots come in. It was 4 green beans cut in half. I can't even tell you how small the portions were. Avoid ordering takeout from them. We are going to try ordering at the restaurant again and see if it's just the doordash option they seem to not give a rip about. BUMMED
