They don't drain the sauerkraut which makes the bread wet mush, yuck. I don't know why other places can do that and this place can't or won't. Bland, boring potato salad.

Eggs are over easy at best, not over medium. I can't eat practically raw eggs. Bacon has raw fat in parts. Grits aren't creamy but dry and lumpy. Big dissapointment.

This is one of our favorite lunch spots for too many years to count. Quality is never in question and they have a great staff. We think they make the best BLT on the island. The Club is also quite popular here and Turkey Bacon Avocado on a croissant is my personal favorite. Try the Tomato Basil. It is NOT traditional. I best describe it as a French onion style but with Tomatoes, not onions. It is truly unique and quite tasty! If you go into the store, it's also quite Unique. They have so much to look at and even buy. From Hats to jewelry to purses and Galveston memorabilia. Totally worth going in person once in a while.
