Butter chicken was rich and creamy. Samosa's are filled to the brim, packed woth potatoes, peas, etc. The chicken tikka masala had the perfect amount of spices, tasted similar to the butter chicken but more tangy. The chicken in both orders were EXTREMELY tender, I've never had that soft of a piece of chicken ever. Other Indian places I've been to have had dry and hard to chew chicken. So props to star of india for the amazingly tender chicken, as well as good portion sizes!

Great portions for the price, and still piping hot after delivery. This was my first time trying the lamb Pasanda and it was just as delicious as their other entrees! It was also my first time ordering the Mixed Appetizer which was tasty and a great value and variety. I've never had a bad experience with them!

Great Samosa (and sauce variety!) and the Garlic Naan & Cheese Naan is a great deal, basically the size of a pizza. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Dansak and Madras at medium plus and the former was accurate but the madras tasted mild at best.

Absolutely fantastic! My partner and I have been looking for a new fave Indian place and this is it! The tikka Marsala (chicken and paneer) were absolutely top notch. Excellent portions and great rice.

• DoorDash review
I feel like after a year of eating here regularly I should write a review. We used to go after rock climbing, but due to some injuries I haven't been going so we've been getting our Star of India fix via DoorDash or takeout. It's always arrived warm.
My favorite is the buttered chicken (either mild or medium, depending on the day) and the onion bhaji (it's like a fried onion fritter, very mild but delicious).
We tried the appetizer sampler and really enjoyed it, for the price it's a great sampler to try new things.
We love our Star, it's alway such a treat. If you get a chance to dine in, it's even better. Raj & his team make it a wonderful experience.
My husband thought I should add "I would die for this place", since it would get the point across. He's a very big fan (especially of the Mango Lasse).
