We used to love Suruki's, but lately they've been unreliable. Specifically, every tempura order in the last three months, save for one, has been short two or three pieces. And tonight's Mixed Tempura Plate was not only short three veggie pieces, but the shrimp wasn't even remotely deveined. My husband's Vegetable Tempura appetizer was also short three veggie pieces and neither of us got the same assortment of veggies. It largely felt like the dregs of the day, except this has happened several times for orders at varying times of day.

The beef was a little tough n chewy, b tasty! The rice was a bit overcooked n mushy, which was unfortunate!!

I usually have an excellent meal from Suraki.
The fish was off today and gristly.
The rest was good!
