I've been eating Japanese food my whole life. I consider myself a connoisseur at this point. And I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt so I ordered twice from there and not to my surprise it was consistent with being the worst Japanese restaurant I've ever tried. The MISO SOUP was just ok can't really mess that one up too bad but it lacked the depth in flavor I am used to tasting it was kind of watered down. The WAKAME SEAWEED SALAD was good , can't really mess that up either so that gets a pass. The Eel roll was mostly rice you couldn't even taste the eel or the eel sauce and soon as I picked up each piece it would completely fall apart. The Raman is terrible it has no flavor at all! The sweet potato tempura was not ok and I am being nice when I say that
, they cut the sweet potato too thick or something and it lacked flavor, some of the pieces tasted a bit odd like they were not fresh and the tempura was doughy not crispy. The steak fried rice was more like rice fried rice , there was barely any steak in it and the pieces of steak were cut in to super small cubes. The flavor was also dull. I saved the rice for the next day to make my own fried rice for breakfast with it so I don't just throw all my money away. I'm disappointed that this place wasn't good , I absolutely hate having a bad sushi experience. I don't know what anyone sees in this place, you have to be a novice in Japanese food to like this place. I would not order from this place again.

This could've been way better, but what I got wasn't that great. The VOLCANO ROLL roll with the "secret" seafood bake was so burnt, I had to basically peel the whole top off. It was unbelievably dry, no sauce, just crispy, burnt strands of crab. The MIAMI HEAT ROLL was just ok. Nothing special at all. They don't give any eel sauce, the spicy mayo didn't taste like anything, the other random sauce was equally as blah. Not sure if that was yum yum sauce or not but it missed the mark. The SHRIMP SHUMAI had no sauce. The fried SHRIMP FRIED RICE was the only thing that was good. And that's being generous. Other than that complete waste of money.

Usually, I love these sushi rolls, but none of them came with spicy mayo or eel sauce like they normally do. That sucks because these rolls are expensive enough as it is, and the least they could do is include the sauces. The rolls tasted pretty plain and dry to me.
