I just flew in from a trip to Aus ,TX. I guess I was still craving Mexican food.
With low expectations from a NYC mex place, I ordered some favorites.
Beef Birria Taco was delicious!
Sinaloa Shrimp Taco was also good, but because it was a little wet, the tortilla didn't hold up.
Peas cado Frito Burrita was perfect. Smaller than a grande, this was the right blend of everything it was supposed to have.
Pricey for the amount of food, but I dont begrudge them running a business.
This place is now on my FAVE list!

The taco plato was delicious and enough for 2 meals so well worth the $. The corn esquites... probably the best i've had in new york. The slight kick with the fresh corn is just 10/10. Would highly recommend!!

I ordered the Carne Asada Taco and the Baja Crispy Fish Taco. Both were very sad excuses for a taco. The carne asada was dry and was just a small scoop of meat with nothing else. The tacos were soggy and flavorless. I've had better here before but will avoid for a while...

The Margarita Clasica was great...and because it comes with a cup with ice that refills 2-3x, it seems like you're getting more than one drink. Unfortunately, my oaxaquena came severely undercooked...the cheese was cold and unmelted - that's truly the only job of a quesadilla - to be warm and melted. Tacombi is still a favorite, regardless. I do wish they'd bring back the chips and salsa because it's was amazing.

I got one burrito (w/ guac) and it was $30. The flavors and ingredients were solid but I would never get this again based on the price. Way too much for the size.
