Don't get the boudin. Cold, mushy, sopping wet - also had no flavor.
The seafood gumbo also had a strong sour taste and im afraid it mightve gone bad. I wont ever eat here again.
I will say that the crawfish boudin and pastalaya were both good - not good enough for me to come back thoigh

Traveling for work in Baton Rouge from Dallas,TX and was recomended this place by locals. Unbelievable delicious gumbo and green beans. What a great find while in town! Too bad this type of food isnt where im from. Great job owners!

Anytime I have a taste for Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and don't want to make it, I order from the Jambalaya Shoppe. They have really good meat pies and Crawfish Pies too.
