Ayamase Ayamase (pronounced "ha-yah-ma-shay") is a blended mixture of green peppers and chillies fried in palm oil and "iru" (fermented melon seeds). It also comes with a small chunks of beef, cow foo…
Small portion for $21 and pretty oily. The oil is more than the actual soup in my opinion. Soup does taste good but the portions and the excess oil almost make it not worth it. The price started at $18 and now is $21 but the portions got smaller as well.

The Jollof meal with Fish looked appetizing from picture. However, the jollof rice was old and microwaved, making the rice hard to chew. The plantain was small - hardly any. The fish was good. Overall, for a hungry soul, the food was okay. It could be better.

First off the flavor of the Efo x Egusi and the Jollof Spaghetti was very good and enjoyable. Decent portion size too. Im satisfied d find a few problems with my order. No egg with my spaghetti, I was given cow skin and not tripe, and I was charged $5+ for a (CAN ) of soda that seems a bit high for the size and the size and quantity of Fried Wings wasnt agreeable.

Baaabbyyy!!!! When I tell you this is my absolute favorite African spot out of all the African spots I’ve tried so far in Indy. I absolutely love it! I’m from Chicago so to find a spot similar to the ones I know of in Chicago this place is that. I usually order through DoorDash when I’m at work, because they’re no where near my house.! I usually get the, jollof rice with (Shaki), the Okra soup, cow skin, and sometimes the Efo soup and the Egusi soup.! When I tell you they have the best swallow I normally get FuFu but I’ve also tired the others. This place is definitely in my opinion hands down the best in Indy.!

Food was terrible. what a waste of $40. The Efo x Egusi had minimal greens in it. the Jollof Meal with Chicken ( drumsticks) was spicy without any seasoning. Rice smelled and taste like it was cooked in a burnt pot. Chicken had a funny taste, I threw the entire meal away. If you are looking for GOOD African food, this isn't it.
