the Salmon BentoBeef Shrimp TeriyakiShrimp Teriyaki are excellent! pricey but worth the portion and the taste is just perfect! the Eel Avocado Roll is just right and rolled to perfection!

Chicken Shrimp Teriyaki
Imagine you're back in the 1990s and this is the first time you've ever had a Japanese food. It's great and these new flavors are amazing but the restaurant is limited by the quality and availability of ingredients for the time.
Now back to reality. It is 2025. That restaurant has not changed at all. It has not improved and still uses whatever restaurant supplier provides the cheapest teriyaki sauce in bulk. The chicken and shrimp were cooked in that flavorless teriyaki sauce so it really doesn't taste like anything except a char from the flat top and sweetness from the teriyaki, really no flavor besides that.
The fried rice was cold and bland, which is fine but feels like it was cooked earlier and just spooned out for later orders. It didn't taste like anything, but it was a 10pm shame meal so it didn't matter.
I got "extra vegetables." They were not cooked in the teriyaki sauce just salt and pepper. It felt as though they dropped the salt/pepper combo shaker when cooking cause it truly was the saltiest food I've had in memory. I am thankful they gave what I imagine was a half serving and not the double I paid for.
Overall it feels like a quantity > quality college place.

Dumplins were so dry like they were under a heat lamp for a longtime
