The consistency in quality in all but my regular order of the dinner combination is beyond excellent every time. The staff makes sure you don't just receive quality but generous amounts & I honestly feel like they care about the orders they send out. Without question on of my favorite places.

I got the dinner sushi combination. Spicy tuna roll was pretty OK. Several of the nigiri had a very funky taste and the rice was poorly cooked, every piece fell/crumbled apart in my chopsticks. I couldn't figure out if it was the fish or the rice. There are other sushi spots that are less expensive but have better quality sushi. Save your money!

If it's prefaced by spicy it just means they added sriracha to the roll, there is a copious amount of rice, sloppily rolled, not a lot of fish. The scallop is really rubbery and off putting. This is my second time trying them and it was really not edible on both occasions. If you like good fish and balanced rolls do not waste your money here.

We were looking for a new somewhat affordable sushi place to try out and we stumbled across this one! We were super excited but what we received was somewhat disappointing. The Vegetable Tempura (8 Pieces) were mostly carrots and I don't mind that but they were all hard and not cooked very well. The Spicy Yellowtail Roll (5 Pieces) was the most sad since the roll didn't even taste like it had fish in it. It was super rubbery and chewy and didn't even have the same consistency of fish. Also for all the rolls, the rice was super thick and chewy. There was so much rice to fish ratio it made my jaw hurt from how much chewing I had to do. The rolls are also sized very large so it's hard to eat it in all one bite. Surprisingly the crispy tuna and BLCR Roll (8 Pieces) were not bad ! I'd only recommend those. However, I don't think I would go out of my way to try this place again. :(

Solid Japanese food in the heart of Silverlake. I usually opt for the Bento box, but everything I've had here is fresh and delicious. Service is always fast and on point, prices are reasonable. Try the Ganja for a special treat.
