I picked up a Mix (Dozen) of donuts from this Winchell's location and added Milk (Chocolate). The donuts were good and the milk was fresh. This location always goes above and beyond, fulfilling specific donut requests if they are in the same cost (fancy, non fancy, etc). I always request full sprinkles and chocolate because that is what keeps my kids happy. This Winchell's location has never failed me and I will continue to be a repeat customer because of it . I highly recommend this Winchell's.

In full transparency, my last review was five stars.
This time, I requested a Mix (Dozen) and wrote special instructions for only sprinkles to prevent kid fights. On this ocassion, l only got one sprinkle which then resulted in a fight and a disaster between kids.
Further, these donuts on this delivery were not good quality. Some were okay, a French curler was hard as a rock, and some had to be thrown out because they were hard and dry. Even my wife mentioned they seemed to be old donuts.
This experience was a shame.

They filled my order exactly right, based on text comments, and they enen threw in a free donut! 3 stars for that. But the donuts are just... not very good. They taste like they're a day old, and the "filled" donuts have very little actual filling. I wish it weren't true. Oh well.

Shoutout to this Winchell’s. The app has a request/comment box for any changes; this box is rarely respected by restaurants. I ordered a Winchell's Dozen and requested 6 sprinkled donuts, because I have kids that fight like lions. Previous shops failed to follow through, upsetting my kids, but not this Winchell’s! I highly recommend this location and will definitely trust my requests will be fulfilled.
