Zankou dark meat is the best. Skin is crispy. Meat is tasty. Nothing is salty at all. Grilled tomatoes are very good and not cooked to death. You will not regret eating here. I will be back.

I have ordered the Quarter Dark Plate and Tabouleh Tabbouleh Salad many times in the past. i am never disappointed. the other sides that I order such as the Mutabbal ,cucumber Cucumber Salad are also excellent. The chicken is always well seasoned, fall off the bone, and moist. Salads are always spot on for taste and never salty. Would I order again? You bet!

This was my first time trying Zankou Chicken. I live under a rock. I got the combo plate with tri-tip and chicken along with 3 sides and 2 pita breads. In the picture, it shows a plate with pickles, sliced onions, tomatoes, and lettuce along with the three sides. Well I didn't get any of that which was disappointing because that would have made a nice pita. Instead my pitas were just meat and sauce. The portions were very little for the price paid. And the tri-tip was very tough. I will not order again. The garlic sauce (toum) was amazing though.

Honestly, you the diner, can do so much better. Check out world market grill in jons in van nuys, or amir's falafel in studio city. The attention to detail, flavor and value honestly put this place to shame. Also, styrofoam? Really?? Portion was solid, but still light compared to the other spots I mentioned.

This was the worst experience ive had with Zankou. The sandwhich barely had meat, it was soggy and tasted bad.
