This place should be called Zankou Falafel. Period. Zankou has a legendary ireputation in Los Angeles for it's chicken (or for it's family in-fighting, look it up), but I find their chicken to be too petite and often overcooked. Their REAL talent is in their sauces and their otherworldly Falafel. Generously sized, SUPER crispy on the outside, fluffy and SO WELL SEASONED on the inside. Never EVER greasy or oily. The contrast in texture is what the human brain craves. Trust me. And their prices a better than most falafel plates, which pale in comparison. Don't let the chicken fool you, folks!

Ordered chicken tarna plate- chicken was dry and stale with no flavor. Turnip salad was soggy and tasted old. Pita is not fresh, 2 come wrapped in the original plastic package from store. Overpriced for this quality. Save your money and go to Kismet Rotisserie instead.

Chicken Kabob Plate was Delicious the chicken was cooked perfectly. The rice, cucumber salad and tomato with turnips are amazing & they are my favorite sides. Zankou Chicken never disappoints. I wish I would've taken a picture of my plate, but I know I will order from them again so I'll add the picture next time.

Chicken Tarna Plate soooooooooo delicious!!!!!! would buy again! portions were great and for the price?!?! in this economy??? love it! great! highly recommend. the Falafel Special was definitely worth adding.
