I wanted to order from this place 2 days in a row because I had a taste for collard greens and baked macaroni & cheese but I didnt because of the delivery fee. But today I ordered sides collard greens, Mac n cheese, yams and a corn bread. Let me just say this food is so good. I cant wait until tommorrow because im gonna order dinner for my family tomorrow. I just needed to make sure it was good before I spend a higher amount of money. I also hit the heart on my door dash app for this restaraunt because it is so good and I know im ordering again. Plus im new to the area and wanted to find a place with good food when I dont feel like cooking but want some good soul food. Definitely 5 stars. my man ate the banana pudding before I could take a pic lol but it had cookies and bananas in it.

I've ordered from this restaurant before , the first time I ordered the food was amazing ! the portions were great everything was on point. the second time I ordered the potato salad was fine the collard greens were salty, the macaroni and cheese was salty, the fish was salty, the oxtails were really greasy more than average. there was absolutely no love in this meal sorry for giving such a poor review.. but I believe it could have been way better for some reason the portions were smaller as well I ordered fish the first time I ordered from you guys Whiting to be exact I was given three pieces I was able to share with my kids. this time I ordered Whiting I got one piece of fish I was not able to divide with the rest very disappointed. will not be returning thank you for your hard work but zero efforts.

I had to barbecue Barbeque Chicken with mac and cheese and potato salad. I ordered an extra piece of Cornbread because I didn't know it was already included with the meal. had I known, one piece would have been enough. I was going to order from this restaurant yesterday, but the delivery fee discouraged me from doing so. I'm assuming that if there was no delivery fee attached from the restaurant, more people are probably order, because it kept me from ordering yesterday. I decided to give them a try today simply because I was curious. food was delicious and seasoned perfectly. no additional seasonings were needed to make it taste good. everything was on point. the barbecue chicken meal included three large pieces of chicken. two thighs and one leg. the macaroni and cheese was really good I wish I wouldn't want it extra. the potato salad was pleasantly seasoned also. and even though I didn't need that second piece of cornbread, I was glad I ordered it. it was so delicious! 😋

The catfish crispy and well-seasoned, and the macaroni and cheese is delightfully cheesy. The string beans are cooked to perfection. And as for the bean pies, they are simply everything! Can't wait to have them again!

That was delightful. I was worried that the portions were small from the pictures, but there was plenty of food, and now I have a good amount of leftovers. The Barbeque Chicken fell off the bone with a tap. Everything was flavorful, and the Cornbread was so sweet and soft. Will order again.
