Drayton Street, 1981.
It's difficult to believe. What began as a notion in a modest kitchen on Drayton Street in Ferndale about 40 years ago has come full circle to become the AK …
Been a fan for many years, the best hummus and tabbouleh in the area imo and that's saying something considering there's a ton of middle eastern restaurants nearby. Lemon tart was tangy and delicious tho a tad on the expensive side for the portion size. All around tasty!

MIGHT AS WELL ORDER FROM SAHARA. I spent $200 to feed 4 people. It was all trash. Spent $18 on the Kibbeh Nyeh to get half a portion and it wasn't good. The Baba Ghannouge was awful and $13 for less than 8 oz. Everything in the Mixed Mezz was completely dry. I spent like $8 on the Freshly Cut Vegetables to get like 3 pieces of each vegetable. I think the only thing that was good was the Baklava but Saharas is MUCH better. Dont order from here. Just dont do it.
This was the LARGE. Oh and some items opened in the box lol

The Kibbeh Nyeh was soggy, inedible, very dark and smelled spoiled. Kebob Entrée is over priced, 1 skewer in the meal, very little rice, which was lacking flavor and over cooked veggies.

The salad is delicious, but for $15+, it's disappointing to receive a portion size that suggests someone had some before it made its way to me. I wish the container was actually full, or at least not half-empty.
