Bear West is the BEST! Im telling you.... best Collard greens, best green beans, best tri-tip cuts, best pulled pork, best sauce by far!! When you find a place that has this many bests, you can't deny it. They're the best BBQ in the 916. Thank you Bear West!

My favorite go to spot for some of the best ribs in Sacramento. The macaroni and cheese is excellent also. Generous portions. You won't be disappointed.

This is my favorite BBQ spot. The food is delicious and they are very friendly. Mac n Baked Mac & Cheese has good flavor. Ribs are tender and juicy.

The "Link Sandwich" is in actuality a hot link on a plain bun that comes with BBQ sauce on the side. It was a good hot link, but the name Hot Link Sandwich made me think it was a sandwich and not just a hot link. Good flavor on the Candied Yams, faint hint of nutmeg, really sweet and perfectly cooked! Lastly, the Shrimp & Grits was FIRE!!! Definitely the star of the show, and the reason I'll be ordering here again.

I've been meaning to try this place for awhile, looking for a good BBQ place ever since the Barnetts retired and House of Chicken and Ribs closed about 3 years ago. Bear West was Ok and they have decent prices for BBQ these days, ribs were pretty good, I'd give them an 8, Mac and cheese was good, reminded me of my Moms when I was a kid, give it a 9, BBQ beans were disappointing because I would expect something more Like homemade, but these were out of a can I'm almost certain tasted exactly like Bush's, which aren't bad, but expect more from a BBQ Restaurant, all and all I'll probably be back while still hunting for a Place that comes
