This place is amazing! Way better than chick fil a. The seasoning on the tots is chefs kiss! The only thing I will say is if I'm paying .60 for dipping sauce, please ensure it's at least full or in a bigger container.

Ordered 2 of the 5-Piece Chicken Tenders
For the value with a coupon and dash pass it was better to order two than one and I figured I’d have leftovers for meals this week. Each was supposed to come with two sauces; I only got 2 total. I’m assuming it’s the BirdCall sauce but it tastes like thousand island dressing. My BBQ did not come, luckily, I had some at home. I tasted the tenders without any sauce first and all I can say is the breading seemed overcooked and it tasted like the fryer oil is dirty. It was not good. I scraped a lot of the breading off of two tenders and was able to eat just the chicken part with my barbecue sauce. I thought I’d try one more time with the breading; tried it again but no, it’s still really overcooked and tasted like bad fryer oil . Pretty disappointed, and what do I do with the 8 tenders that I now have left over?

the chicken tenders smell like Lay's Barbecue Chips but the flavor isn't as sweet, which is good. Large tenders overall good price compared to other similar food places on doordash.

ecently ordered a chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and pickle sandwich from Birdcall, expecting a fresh and flavorful meal given their reputation. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
The chicken was extremely dry, almost as if it had been sitting out for hours. It lacked the juiciness and tenderness you’d expect from a freshly prepared sandwich. It honestly felt like it was something mass-produced, not a quality item from a place that prides itself on freshness.
The bacon was similarly dry and brittle, with none of the crisp or smoky flavor you’d want. It felt like an afterthought—something you’d find on a pre-made sandwich from a fast-food chain like McDonald’s, rather than a supposedly higher-quality establishment like Birdcall.
The lettuce and tomato were lackluster at best. The lettuce was limp and wilting, and the tomato lacked flavor, giving the impression that it wasn’t fresh. These are basic ingredients that should elevate a sandwich, but they did nothing to redeem it.
The pickle was perhaps the only component that wasn’t completely underwhelming, but it wasn’t enough to save the sandwich as a whole.
Overall, the sandwich was dry, uninspired, and disappointing—not what you’d expect from a place touting its commitment to fresh and quality ingredients. It’s unfortunate that it felt more like something hastily thrown together at a fast-food chain than a carefully crafted meal.
I was expecting something far better from Birdcall, but this experience left me questioning whether I’d return. If you’re craving a fresh and satisfying sandwich, you might be better off looking elsewhere until Birdcall steps up their game.
Let me know if you’d like to adjust the tone or add anything else!
