thai tea was very good. didn't expect it to be blended but super yummy

This is the only boba place my mom and I go to now! This is the BEST BOBA PLACE EVER! plus they have BANANA AND CHOCOLATE!! this is the best drink ever!! Everything was fresh and the service was excellent! and the portions were exactly what we ordered too!

Every time I order, the drinks are only filled three fourths of the way. I'm very disappointed about it.

The milk tea was awesome . the potato Potato rice hotdog (whole mozzarella cheese) tasted like old oil, and the potatoes were too done. it wasn't what I expected trying for the first time.

I've had good experiences with Boba Loca in the past. And to be fair, the Taro Milk Tea I ordered was good. I like that you can ask for 50% sweetness.
So why 3 stars? I stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon. It looked to have a steady flow of people coming through. But not at like a hectic pace.
As soon as I got the 'ready' notification from the app, I arrived to pick up my order. I arrived, greeted the person at the counter and let them know I had a pick up.
Ngl, it was awkward. The person gave me a blank stare. (Basically :| ) . Said nothing for like 5 seconds, then sighed and went to the back to get my order.
I get the frustration with working counters. I did it when I was younger. And I've worked with some difficult customers out there. I'm easy. I don't act entitled. And I respect the person at the counter. But I have to say, it felt a bit uncomfortable. I felt like I was making some unreasonable demand by showing my order.
I get that we all have hard days. And I don't wish bad on this individual. But I do hope they think about how they might come off to people. And also (gasp!) consider that it's not so difficult to just be pleasant if someone is being low maintenance. They may not be personally invested in ratings or whether anyone returns, etc. But at least they can be pleasant and not act put out by a customer.
I'll return and if it's better, I'll leave a better review.
