Bonnie C's is a local gem among the detritus of chain restaurants that litter Slidell's culinary thoroughfare. They have some of the very best red beans & rice I've ever eaten. Their pork chop is cooked low and slow, so it just melts in your mouth. Plus, in this age of greedflation on top of inflation, Bonnie C's hasn't changed its very reasonable prices. You really can't find a tastier meal with such great value anywhere.

the Jambalaya Pasta is sooo delicious. I love the flavor and the spices. it was a large portion and cane witha little slice of french bread. the seafoodin the pasta is fresh an of a good size. I'd definitely oorder this again and again.

The food arrived quickly, and it was still hot. There are pieces of sausage in the beans and rice as well as two pieces of sausage on the side in the container with the cornbread. The cornbread is fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend Bonnie C's for their red beans and rice with meat.

Everything was great, but the restaurant neglected to include the ordered side salad that was part of one of the Crispy Fish Platter . Otherwise, the fish was excellent as were the sides. The Loaded Cheese Fries were only decent. They were soggy and just warm. Bonnie C's is the only place for fried fish and wonderful chocolate cake (Blackout Chocolate Cake ). The Kids' Fish was just to have more fish and side.

The Baked Potato was fine. Review Door Dash The deep south gold was a complete disappointment. When we ordered that in the past, we knew we had to wait 20 to 30 minutes to have it done properly because you all cooked it fresh. What I received were two very overdone chicken strips now $15 is a lot to pay for chicken strips, even if it has your yams and baked potato with it. DoorDash did mess up the order so I’m not blaming you for that however somebody should’ve been paying attention to the original order knowing I didn’t need an extra plate of deep south food which I did have to pay for so I spent almost $60 on one meal that was fairly edible, barely.i
