Been on the hunt for a proper Cold Italian Hero. Was kinda let down on this one. The hero roll is kinda hard, doesn't have that chewey skin and soft inside, the outside was hard and the inside was too dense.
The cuts are good, sliced well and right proportions of each but, you can tell who ever made mine doesn't really like 🥪’s or, cold cuts at least. The tomato slices are paper thin and only two slices, basically no S&P Oil/Vin on the sando and that's a KEY part of an Italian. Basically no aioli even tho I paid for it, or onion.
Why is just plain Mayo not an option btw?
I'd find a better bakery to get my rolls from person all, especially if you are going g to charge $20 for that sandwich.

Chicken Parmesan Hero was pretty good. Maybe a bit dry (while simultaneously a bit soggy because of its journey to us) but the chicken part was good.
Pistachio Cheesecake was not good. Tiny slice, very strongly almond essence taste and it also smelled like "fridge".

Porchetta & rabe with fontina is great. Every ingredient is fresh and very flavorful. Bread is super soft, almost to the point of soggy but I did get delivery. Good size, filling but not huge.

Brooklyn Hero Shop is the best! This is one of my favorite sandwhiche. I want it time and time again! High quality ingredenets make it worth the price.
