Bushniwa is a Japanese brasserie in the bustling Bushwick area of Brooklyn, which opened in August 2018 by longtime friends Kuni and Robert.
Chef Kuni is the driving force behind Bushniwa's menu.
Love the tuna avocado salad. Fish is so fresh and the avocado is like butter melts right in your mouth. Shrimp bun good too. A little pricey but delicious

Small (every plate), but top quality fish. Skip the tiramisu unless you love a small nice very sugary thing. Seems like a place to splurge on their (very very good) nigiri sushi (by the piece).

the place to order from if you are ready to splurge. portions are kinda small so order more than you think you need BUT everything tastes like butter. 100% will not regret!

Never in my life have I had a sushi place so consistently top notch. The fish is always fresh, rice cooked (and seasoned) perfectly, always a 10/10
