I did not expect to find this fabulous Jamaican food here in Portland. The rice and peas taste like what we make back home on Sundays and the jerk chicken sauce is absolutely delicious. I was so pleasantly surprised when I got Jamaican style tossed salad with my food instead of the usual steamed vegetables that these restaurants normally serve. Oh and the curried goat is off the chain!

Mostly bone.... guess it's Maine so not expecting much . Taste wise it was good but paying $5 for extra oxtail and still got just 5 medium size oxtail with barely any meat on it and 3 bits of end of the oxtail, isn't worth it.

The chicken was very dry, & the rice was hard; like it was the last of the food there. The festivals were not festivals. Those were just fried flour, sweetened with sugar. Festivals are made with mainly cornmeal, people; not just straight flour. The raw vegetables were the best part of the meal. I was very hungry; so I had to eat what I bought. Wasn't worth the price. I've had much better, for far less.

Extremely small side of plantains was included as part of the dinner but charged separately. The missing "raw" vegetable was sub par and delivered in a second trip,jerk chicken was good but Kamisha seemed not to consider selling me what I requested in my order.

The best Jamaican food in the Portland area. Ox tail, jerk chicken delicious, fried chicken is my go to if oxtail isn't available. And they have Jamaican ginger beer! That I haven't been able to find since we lived in Brooklyn!
