• DoorDash orderThis was quite an adventure! When we talk about hole-in-the-wall spots, this is a prime example!
I placed a pickup order and made my way to the listed address. I wasn't sure what to look for, and I'm grateful for the bouncer who directed me! This restaurant is not on the street the map takes you but rather the alley behind the building (theres a large DOORDASH logo painted on the wall pointing at the door you'll walk in).
Anyway, on to the food:
Chicken, Mac & Greens--- these are three *hefty* egg rolls stuffed with collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and litle bites of chicken. Each egg roll is salty, savory... if you've got some Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce in your fridge, it'll be perfect to dip these egg rolls in.
Potatoes & Onions--- these are chunks of well-seasoned, pan-fried potatoes with sautéed onion. Yum.
Banana Pudding --- some places don't add enough vanilla wafers. This spot gives you plenty! I appreciate that it doesn't taste like box banana pudding. Right on!
Sweet Potato Pie -- you can tell it's homemade. It tastes like my late nana's sweet potato pie. RIP, nana. And thank you Dana's Soul Food for bringing back memories of nana's kitchen.

• DoorDash orderMrs. Dana! You did that! Even after midnight... the food was fresh and full of flavor! I travel a lot with work and love to try local eaterys! Those salmon patties are so big they can feed not one, but 4 people! All 2 Salmon Patties full of salmon, not flour like o have experienced before. My sides were mac, greens, yams, and potato salad. I was very pleased! The one thing I may suggest, is for potato salad, use yellow/gold potatoes. They are smoother and or as gritty as russet potatoes. I enjoyed every bit of it. I spoke to Mrs. Dana personally and she is a delight! Customer service is AAA+! She also gifted me a lemon cake that was delicious! I will be back and I will be letting everyone know about this place!

• DoorDash orderThe pork chops were crispy, seasoned just perfectly and awesomely big and you get two of them. The macaroni and cheese was on point and the fried potatoes and onions oh my God! This Sunday dinner was a treat that you will not regret trying. my cousin Melissa Gentry told me your food was awesome! thank you 💯

• DoorDash reviewCatfish was good, not necessarily to my taste, but fried very well. Banana pudding was fire, Mac and cheese tasted like something at family holiday, green beans had soft and crispy chunks of ham. I originally rated this 4 star but I've talked myself into 5. I don't review anything on here, but try this place.

the cornbread wasn't ruined with too much sugar in it, the greens were clean and mouthwatering, and i never needed to pick up a salt or pepper shaker, pleasantly surprised
