We order spicy chicken tenders with potato salad and fries . Always excellent with just the right amount of spice and crunch. The fries come unseasoned but they always include salt, pepper and ketchup so you can season to your liking. When it's just me ordering (no kids) I prefer the spicy bone-in with honey mustard. Bone in is more juicy but seems more spicy so the honey mustard tames the spice perfectly for me.

I ordered the 3 Piece Dinner. The chicken quality seems to be getting worse every time. I asked for dark meat and got a very large breast which had small bones inside the skin, and a wing that was so small I wasn't even sure of what it was. Also had Golden-Fried Okra 1/2 lb. which was mushy. Also good luck getting the attention of the girl who works in the front

super disappointing as is often the case here. my experience tells me you have about a 1 in 3 chance of having fresh hot chicken. otherwise, it is clearly stale and dry. if you happen to catch a fresh batch all is good otherwise the fried Chicken from the Safeway is better. pity.

My mom used to drive an hour for this place when I was a kid. Just got back from being in Denver for a decade, and this was one of the first things I had to get. It's just like I remembered!! The slaw is much better than most places, the rolls are delicious, and the breading on the chicken is some of my favorite. The Chicken Livers 1/2 lb. were great. So was the 3 Piece Dinner , but I will say the breasts were a bit overcooked and chewy. Still worth it, and I will order again!
