I love this food so much I could cry. I didn't eat for 2 days and this is what I chose to have first. don't get me wrong… It's not my first rodeo… I've had this bowl many many times. I get the Build Your Own Farmbowl with mix greens, Romain, feta,spiced, pecans, lentils, quinoa, and chili lime tofu, and a lime wedge. I also get a LITTLE FARMER BOWL with lentils, black beans, and chicken. My son and I eat some of each for days. I love their lime, cilantro dressing, so much! And the creamy jalapeño ranch. They will give up to two dressings for the large salad, and none for and the LITTLE FARMER BOWL. Since they don't offer a dressing, so I always ask the Dasher to pick up an extra for me for the little farmer bowl.  The GRILLED CHEESE MEAL with max n cheese and fruit is a decadent indulgence. And my kid loves the juice boxes.

Im from Texas, I come to Durham twice a year for business. & I must say this is the best salad I've had. We have really good salad places in the Dallas area however im vegetarian and my only source of protein there is black beans and quinoa whereas here at Farmside I can have all that and tofu. Service is great and food is always fresh. The Lemon Basil dressing is my favorite.

First time trying this place. I ordered one of their most liked salad options (apologies I forget the name, I believe it was their #2 most liked).
Anywho, the food is delicious! Like, "above and beyond" delicious. Perhaps the best salad I've had in the past 9 months! Portions are kind of bust for a $12 salad (the included "bread" for example, was half of a 1/2" French baguette. It's almost laughable and was eaten in a single bite).
That said, if you love large portions, it may not be for you... but if taste and quality are high on your list, I would wager you'll be very impressed! Wonderful flavor.

The dressings are flavorful, all of the veggies are delicious and fresh.Loved the bread (wish it was a bigger piece). If you are a white meat chicken eater, pay attention to the descriptions. You get the option of breast or not. Will definitely be my new salad place!

WOW! Best THE RANCHER salad and HOMEMADE MAC N' CHEESE, I have ever ordered from a restaurant. When I'm hungry, Farm & Kitchen will be my spot.
