The soups were only half full and cost quite a bit, the size of the cup they give you is 1/2 cup, so only getting half of that was disappointing for how much you pay for them. You could tell it was old and left over. The subs were great but woupdnt recommend the soup at all.

The Firehouse Chili is excellent. Perfect for a cold winter day. I also thought the French Dip was really tasty. Great bread and au jus! Overall, the food has always been good here, very consistent.

I loved the King Hawaiian Sub! The only regret is that the pork was too fatty. The slaw was tasty and there was a good amount of pork with sauce. It wasn't spicy but had a nice tanginess to it. The bun was soft and slightly sweet. The Brownie was fudgey and moist. I hope the King Hawaiian Sub stays on the menu for a while!! The brownie was a perfect end to a delicious meal!!

So this is a five star review even though I have a criticism, just because I've had a lot of great subs here. The Italian isn't the best choice, I'll say it. The issue is that the ham that firehouse uses has a honey flavor to it that makes the sandwich sweet, I like my Italian sandwiches to have that oil and vinegar and garlic antipasto flavor to them and the ham doesn't fit. That being said, the ham IS delicious on other sandwiches, like the hook and ladder, because the sweet pairs perfectly with the mustard and the Mayo flavors in that sandwich. Go with the hook and ladder on wheat if you go here and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the flavor profiles that the ham and mustard bring to the wheat bread.
Pros:
Sandwiches are pleasantly warm even after delivery
Boxes vent well and warm subs don't "steam" their bread
Never had over toasted bread here
Flavor profiles are spot on for the hook and ladder sub (get this one if you can't decide)
The bread has different slice indents every time, so I know it's baked in house
Good meat to bread ratios
Con:
Italian sub is a bit sweet and not what I expected. I feel that my opinion of an Italian sandwich is a popular opinion.
Mixed:
Prices are moderate, but you pay for quality with sandwich places, and firehouse blows cheap sub places out of the water in quality. With places like this I usually get the big sandwich, and eat it for two lunches.
Overall firehouse is one of two places I would place at top tier for a 16 dollar two lunch big sub.

The Chicken Parm Meatball was, as my young nephews say,
Fire 🔥🚒!!! But without the Heat ! The bun was soft, the sauce was finger licking, the cheese was ample, and the chicken meatballs were tender, juicy and perfectly spiced!
That is why I love Firehouse, their sandwiches have flavor without the heat.
