The Shrimp With Broccoli was very good and you can tell it was made fresh. Although it was more broccoli than shrimp it was still a good amount of shrimp in the dish. The Shrimp Fried Rice is my kids favorite. The Fried chicken Wings is always a go to for us. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Charlotte.

Shrimp With Broccoli was very good. Arrived hot and broccoli was sautéed perfectly. There was a lot more broccoli than shrimp. Will definitely order again. Will request more shrimp

I live in Boca Raton Florida with my fiance. who is up in Charlotte getting her condo ready for sale. I fly up every other week and when I don't I order her Golden Taipei shrimp and broccoli with rangoons. better than any Chinese food I can find in South Florida and almost as good as Chinese from when I lived in New York. the food is fresh hot and tasty quality ingredients are used and the cooking oil is clean. never had better crab rangoons taste the chunks of crab meat in it. I order six times a month

I am from New York City and have experienced quite a few Chinese restaurants even in Chinatown. I come to Charlotte for personal reasons 2 weeks out of the month and by first stop is the Golden Taipei. Best crab rangoons I ever had real crab meat instead of all cream cheese which is okay too. The shrimp and broccoli is to die for I asked for brown rice and brown sauce on the side and that's how I get it other restaurants don't seem to pay attention to detail. I now have the food delivered and it comes hot and fresh just like I was sitting there eating highly recommended

Not horrible, but definitely not good with Thai food. Curry has an insultingly low amount of coconut milk; the container isn't even halfway filled with coconut milk so it's mostly just vegetables. No opportunity to enjoy the curry flavor. There vegetables displace the coconut milk so it's even less than it appears when the container is full. So basically you're paying $10+ for vegetables and rice. Not really acceptable. Pad see ew is also different than the ones I've gotten from authentic Thai restaurants. It tastes ok, but I there is no option for tofu as a protein and when I asked for it in the requests, they completely ignored me. If you like Thai food I would go to Viet-Thai (same shopping center) and only use this place as a last resort.
