I had the 2 piece chicken, greens, mac, and sweet potato pie. The chicken was juicy and the seasoning was perfect. This is my first time eating there... I normally get Mrs Whites.. or another place near by that food went down hill after they built the new restaurant and became a chain. But... Gus' food is really good and fresh... I recommend eating there. My only complaint was that my sweet potato pie was so tiny. I dont mind a smaller portion but for $4... it wasnt worth it. But... overall slamming food.

This place is amazing! The food was amazing! And the portions are HUGE. I definitely had my money's worth and I was happy to have a refrigerator and microwave in my room as I ended up with food for two meals. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Phoenix. I will be eating there again!

The3 Piece Wing Plate2 Piece White Plate are both amazing chicken crispy, crunchy delicious well seasoned has a nice bit of spice which my wife & I thoroughly enjoyed usually it's too hot for her and not hot enough for me, this was perfect for both of us, the coleslaw & beans were nice as well. Can't wait to order again excited to explore the menu instant fave.

The chicken was fresh and delicious. I love the coating! I am more of a mustard potato salad person but it was still good just more on the sweeter side. The Fried Pickle Spears were delicious and had a nice crunch and coating. The mac and cheese is really cheesy but still tastes good. Will definitely be a repeat customer in the future.

Everything was so delicious. The chicken was seasoned well with a nice crunch, greens were fresh, macaroni was cheesy, baked beans were sweet and the sweet tea was sweet and refreshing. My first time experience was great, I will be ordering again.
