The fried chicken Breast was absolutely delicious!!! Just the right amount of spiciness. The coleslaw, lovely and creamy, wonderful flavour. I had never tasted Chess Pie (Slice) before, and it is fabulous!!!, it reminds me of my mother's butterscotch brownies turned into a custardy, yummy pie. I also love the tradition of the chicken in a paper bag, keeping the legacy alive!!!

Neither plate included the sides that were listed. Additional side order of collards looked, tasted, and probably was straight out of a can. Chicken thighs were 3" x 3" in size. Legs looked like dummies. Definitely will not order from them again.

The chicken 4 Tenders Plate were very dry (like nealy pushing it into the jerky category). It was also too spicy for what is supposed to be regular chicken. It was unnaturally orange in color. I ate only half of one piece. Their potato salad uses a spice I associate with sweet gerkin pickles. The coconut pie was so bad it was not edible, yellow in color and with a strong taste of egg. Bad. Sorry, I used to like this place, but it was not good food.

It's called famous fried chicken. Not Gus's Famous Sides.
The chicken was really good. Moist and the perfect amount of spice. However for a chicken place and for the price, i expected better Mac and cheese. It tastes just like KFC. The greens were okay. The potato salad was amazing. Ill def order again but i wont get the mac .

This location is the best I have had this far the chicken is amazing and whoever made the Mac and cheese and greens are heaven sent. I will be ordering again when im in town. Highly recommend
