I had the 3 Piece Dark Plate meal and it was fantastic, the chicken was juicy, crispy and extremely flavorful, the Mac and cheese was amazing and even the potato salad was bursting with flavor, everything I had was top notch, this is my new chicken spot.

Chicken was borderline burned and just not good, perhaps the oil was old. Also, extra side of bean was so small for $4.00 but tasty. Will not order from here again.

My order was fresh and hot and ready when promised. I had a 3 Piece White Plate with fries and mac and cheese. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The fries were crispy and not soggy. The mac and cheese was the cheesiest mac and cheese that I've had in a long time. Everything was spot on.

My first time eating here... the food is absolutely wonderful... especially the Fried Green Tomatoes. chicken, fried okra and collard greens... all cooked to perfection. I will definitely become a regular. Don't pass Gus' up... you'll be sorry... smile

The Pie was great, not too sweet and a nicely sized slice of pecan, and the chicken had a great crust, with great seasoning, and a nice tinge of spice, wish it was hot though! But that's probably because I took a bit to grab the order
