Honest Indian is AMAZING and in my opinion, unmatched. If you love Indian food then please do not skip on this delicious place! They have so many varieties of dishes from different regions and I can't wait to try more. I finally got to take a proper photo of the Amul Butter Pav and today I added on a Cheese Chili Naan which was fantastic out of this world. Look at the photos-- look at those fresh ingredients! This is my favorite Indian restaurant, they make my food with love and care and reminds me of mum's cooking!

Food is good, but it's very expensive especially when you realize it doesn't come with rice or naan. The butter paneer had nice flavor and seasonings, the garlic naan was fluffy and not overcooked and the coconut chutney tastes mildly like a tahini hummus, but it wasn't $30+ worth of food good. I could get similar quality paneer that includes rice and plain naan for less than half of what I spent on this. Like I said, it's very good, but I probably won't order from here again.

Honest is quite possibly the best, and most expensive, casual Indian restraurant in the North Wilmington area. They have excellent food, and I love their commitment to vegetarianism, but they are also cheap and leave out basics that you would expect to get at other Indian restaurants. Tonight, my two samosas (which are considerably more $$ than the going rate locally) didn't come with any chutney! I've never been served dry samosas with no chutney anywhere! They also gave me only one small container of raita for my paneer briyani, which isn't enough. The food is delicious, though. The samosas were delightful and just the right amount of spicy, and the biryani is as well. Just be prepared to order and pay extra for basics that should be included in generous quantities at these prices.

This place is QUITE expensive compared to other Indian places in the area, but I thought I'd try it as a splurge just in case it's amazing. My entree, Paneer Tikka Masala, came with no rice, which I have no idea if this was supposed to be the case as I've never ordered from here before. Am I expected to buy a separate thing of steamed rice for $6.24 on top of my $20 entree? The food bag was stapled together at the restaurant too, so there's no chance it was the driver's mistake. Either way, if my rice was omitted due to neglect or they never intended to give me any, is pretty bad. I had to cook my own rice to eat my too-expensive meal so I was feeling pretty grumpy, but then... the food was actually very very good. I was kind of annoyed because I was ready to fully hate everything about this place by that point, but honestly the food is great. The spice level was perfect, & the Bhaji Pav was excellent too. If this place had less insane prices ($6.86 for a garlic naan??? In what universe?) & had bothered to give me rice, a crucial & non-negotiable part of my meal, I would order here all the time. As it is, it'll live on in my heart as the riceless wonder.

W-O-W, just wow. I am astounded at the quality and care that went into the meal I just ordered. The Amul Butter Vada Pav (1 Pc) was the most phenomenal vada pad I've tasted in my life. The Extra Pav were packaged beautifully and are a buttery delight. I grabbed the Extra Coconut Chutney out of curiosity and wasn't disappointed, this stuff is fresh, creamy and just what I needed to offset the perfectly 'Mild' spice level that I requested. I wish I had known Doordash allows photos now- I had already eaten 3/4 of my meal haha. I would have also loved to have captured the neat, well-packaged items in my bag. Really appreciated, this stuff was made with love and you can absolutely tell. Thank you!!!
