Pleasantly surprised. Made me miss the south. Good chicken, corn bread and Mac and cheese. My son that's a picky eater liked it as well! Chicken tastes fresh and the tenders are huge. The cornbread is as good as everyone raves about. Also cool this place was on Phantom Gourmet!

I don't leave reviews ever but I just had to for this place. This is my 2nd time ordering and my first time ordering the Blue Plate (2 Pc). The biggest drumstick & chicken thigh I've ever seen in my life. Perfectly fried, crisped, and flavored. The plate and the sides all traveled well, too. Everything was still hot

By far one of the best door dash orders ive ever had. Perfect temperature, perfect fried chicken crispiness, perfect cheesiness in the grits. Will definitely order again!!

The food here is good, and the flavors here are great but the price is really what didnt get me to 5 stars. I also think their sides are a little small portioned (at least delivered).
The Blue Plate (2 Pc) as a good bang for your buck. I do wish they had a homemade hot sauce option. The Nashville Hot Chicken Bao Buns didnt really taste "hot" at all. If you're looking for spice, this really isn't the place. My wife got the garlic parm Blue Pate and she enjoyed it a ton. Her chicken was seasoned well and the black truffle sauce was good. For sides we got the mac & cheese, sweet potato tots, cornbread and mashed potatoes. The cornbread was AMAZING and the sweet potato tots were good. Mac & cheese was just ok, but nothing special. Same for the mashed.
Overall this place is good - I just wish they had more options for sauces and their actual Nashville hot chicken was actually spicy.

Oysters tasted great but for $19 I could have done without having them placed back in the shell for decoration and maybe had more oysters.
The okra was good as well.
Portions being a little bigger would bring me back more
