As always, everything was fresh and delicious! Jerusalem Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in KC. They never disappoint. I tried the Falafel & Baba Ghanouj Sandwich for the first time, and I loved it! It's creamy, smoky, and the portions are very nice. My husband had the Gyros Sandwich and he loved it as well.

After having both the Cheese Gyro Manakeesh and Beef Kifta Manakeesh, here is my full review: I personally enjoyed the Cheese Gyro Manakeesh a lot more. If you are trying to decide on which Manakeesh to order... Cheese Gyro is cheesy, garlicky and the gyro meat is tender and savory. Beef Kifta is ground beef in a tomato/onion sauce (I requested hot sauce on the side and recommend if you want a kick). So it depends if you want cheesy/garlic or tomato/onion flavor! I do not recommend ordering the Turkish Coffee if you are looking to try something new! It is a small cup of black coffee, nothing special for the price. I was expecting more unique flavors but it taste like standard (more bitter) black coffee. There was also no safety barrier to prevent opening the cup or covering over the hole for drinking. The driver handed it to me as is.

The food all together was basically perfect, and so fresh that it held up super well through the delivery. The Dolma (Stuffed Grape Leaves) were soft but didn't fall apart and super flavorful. The Spanakopita was the best I've had and perfectly flaky. Lastly, the Falafel & Hummus Combo were, of course, delicious. The falafel was nice and crisp on the outside, and the hummus had just the right amount to it. This is definitely going to be a go-to order for me.

The fries were utmost and the gyros were so tender and super delicious and we could not imagine how amazing is the salads with the special dressing; I wish I could have ordered more than two or three sandwiches. Thanks Jerusalem for your gifted food !!

Can you make this Lentil Soup thickness every time I love when it's a thicker consistency! Ban a Ghanou delicious as always. Tabouli Salad more lemons and olives please! Love the food here. Vegan friendly! Also best fries ever
