NY born and raised and Joe's is probably the closest to NY/NJ Pizza I have tried in the LA area. I love all pizza but thier is a reason I still order from here after moving from Sherman Oaks to Northridge (of course I make it worth the drive with a very generous tip).
Can't go wrong with anything off the menu, I particularly like just a plain cheese, Sicilian Slice, or the calzones/parm sandwiches. Canoli is pretty massive and worth the price for a njce dessert. 👌 if you are tired of chain pizza (nothing wrong with them either, just depends on what type you're craving), you should def check out Joe's.

Cheese pie: crust tastes burnt, but feels wet at the same time. So what I have is a soggy burnt crust the texture of naan. Cheese is good.
Calzone: massive disappointment. Wet dough, undercooked, and poorly balanced ingredients. Maybe a meat topping once every 3-4 bites. The rest of the time I was chewing on wet dough and a mouthful of bland cheese and sauce.
Feels like a huge waste of money.

Always tangy, perfect sauce in the perfect balance. Just the right melt to the cheese. And the crust is heaven. Best place!

Pizza was good but that salad was so bad it really threw me off. Croutons were super soggy (I was excited, they're advertising as homemade and black peppered) and the chicken was just terrible I took it off and tried to eat as much of the salad as I could so I didn't waste my $12. Next time I'll just get pizza lol

Sometimes being nice and adding a courtesy ranch when you forget to order comes a long way. My poor dasher said he will pay for ranch . I did give him 5 stars and a large tip. But this place gets a 1 . $1.10 for not even a half of this little thing. Pic included.
