I have been going to Kelly's in Alvin for many years and I have never been disappointed the food has always been flavorful and portions are for 2 people . All of the employees have been courteous and kind Very helpful. Thank you very much

Wow! What a lot of food! I ordered the Fish & Shrimp Combo (grilled instead of fried). The fish was grilled, but it appears they can only fry the shrimp. My husband ordered the same, but with fried fish. The combos each came with three sides. We chose green beans, cole slaw, buttered carrots, carrot and raisin salad, buttered corn, and a side salad. The salad would have been enough by itself. Everything is good, but the carrot & raisin salad, buttered corn, buttered carrots, and my salad to which I added avocado were exceptionally good! The Fried Green Tomatoes, Fried Pickles, and Onion Rings each came with about 1 cup of Ranch dressing. Peach Cobbler & Lemon Pie were good. They forgot our drinks, but our driver went back and got them. Needless to say, we had a LOT of leftovers! I gave only 3 stars because their homestyle cooking is good, but most dishes are not exceptional.

Much larger than I thought ! I didnt even come close to finishing it. Arrived hot in a sealed bag, I paid 2.99 extra to arrive with no stops. Great BBQ Beef Baked Potato

The Chicken & Dumplings never fails. Just about unbeatable as comfort food. Do stir it, though; the dumplings rise leaving tons of chicken at the bottom. The black-eyed peas are well seasoned and clearly slow-cooked.
