I travel a lot and have experienced food from all kinds of places—high-end restaurants to hidden gems—but Lalito’s Taqueria completely blew me away. The Tostitos con Esquite and Birria Ramen were on another level—bold flavors, perfect execution, and way beyond expectations.
I’ll be honest—I didn’t even realize this was a food truck until my Dasher messaged me to let me know she was there and was waiting as there was only one person at the truck (I ordered super late-but it wasn't long). As a CEO, I respect the hustle and know great food when I taste it. This isn’t just “good for a food truck”—this is phenomenal food, period. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate—just order.

Not sure if we ordered on an off day but for $5 each these were the smallest tacos I have literally ever seen. No bs I'm talking like 2 tsp of meat per taco. One chicken and one beef that were all grease and no flavor.
Also ordered a bacon breakfast burrito that was flavorless as well and oddly smelled like tuna fish??

The " Churros Rellenos / Stuffed Churros" Was one churro, not even cut down the middle, and the description said it'd be stuffed with cream or chocolate, it was stuffed with strawberry. The rest of the food was good, it was wrapped up in wax wrap though, didn't feel as food-safe as the alluminum they provided for the churro.

Bad news, other Eugene Mexican restaurants, I think our loyalties have just shifted to Lalitos. The tortillas are *out of this world*, the tacos cooked to perfection. For the price of the burrito, I figured it'd be a small side. It's *massive* 10/10 will be ordering from here in the future (banana for scale in picture 3)

Horchata con Fresa / Rice Drink with Strawberry is very thick, a little textured like it's a powdered mix, and definitely does not taste like fresh strawberries.
Plato Quesabirria taco plate was absolutely delicious! The birria was very tender and the consumme was tasty
El súper burrito was huge! Chorizo was very good and spicy.
