After a long day of work I decided to splurge on something flavorful. I also wanted to try Lure again because the last time I attempted months back, was told they couldnt take my order because they were too busy and I would need to call back later. Odd perhaps, but I love to support a local business and gave them another try. This time they accepted my order & also got it out to delivery very quickly which was appreciated, but appears- at the expense of the quality. The Crab Rangoon Dip was a very simple but tasty appetizer, large enough for a few people you share. Exactly what you would expect it to be. However, the main reason I ordered was the Snow Crab and Lemon Ricotta Ravioli, of which I was very disapponted in. It did not come as it was advertised as it was missing the sweet potatoes, kale, ham, sunflower seeds, AND the sundried tomato oil. Each of these things would've added an immense amount of flavor to the dish, which it was very much so lacking. I ended up having to add my own seasoning. The minutus amount of crab meat was colder than room temperature and had no flavor. A pile of spinach was dumped in the middle for aesthetic more than anything else. The serving size is what you would anticipate >10 ravioli total. At Lure's pricepoint I expected a much higher quality cuisine & ingredients. I was really hoping for this to be another great local eatery I could suggest to clientele, but it seems they have lacking quality control that dramatically effects their products. I wish the chef well and hope to see improvement in the future.
