Didnt tell me that they were out of an item I ordered. I could have ordered something else but now I don't have enough for everyone. Extremely disappointed

I originally ordered 2 six packs and 1 - 12 pack. I ordered it like that for a reason. I received 3 -12 packs instead. Supposedly the 6 packs were out of stock and I was charged the difference but I was never asked if I even wanted that. It's wrong for the store to assume that was ok to approve and do. Very disappointed.
