The food and service is grade A+. This place converted my not-a-fan of sushi boyfriend AND my usually picky (when it comes to food) kid ! A few of our go to's is the Chicken Karaage - w/ the sauce !! Beef Teriyaki - and all the rolls that include Avocado for me :)

From out of town, treating my friend to a special birthday, and I'm so glad we chose this place. The Rainbow Roll melted in their mouth, they were so happy with it, and the eel in the Unagi Avocado Hand Roll was completely perfect. Some of the best tempura I've had in awhile, too. 10/10, will certainly be back if we make this birthday weekend retreat a regular thing.

Best sushi takeout in the bay. Lackluster dine-in experience but fantastic takeout. CB Roll and Dragon Roll are divine! Great portions.

Review only for teriyaki salmon as The sushi is always good and authentic.
Today I wanted to try something cooked so I figured their salmon teriyaki would be just as good and authentic. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I picked up the order so no waiting time. There were 2 pieces of dry salmon with No sauce sitting next to a lot of rice. After eating the top piece of salmon with soy sauce, I realized there was a little bit of sauce under the second piece only (top part was dry no seasoning). The sauce was ok a little sweet but the fish overall had no taste and a bit dry. Then the salad which was mixed greens with a container of -thousand island dressing!!! I would assume they would have a nice ginger soy citrus dressing or something Japanese. Very disappointed. So basically I will just be ordering sushi.

Stick with sushi, stay away from the entrees. Ordered chicken teriyaki and a roll. The sushi was good, but had the same exact experience as some other reviewers with the teriyaki entree. The chicken was very thin and dry with very little sauce. Whatever sauce there was, was bland and soaked up by the rice which should have been separated from it. The salad the entree came with seemed like a small handful of spring mix from a bag tossed in with some thousand island dressing. Would have been nice to have a more typical Japanese dressing since the effect it created was generic dry reheated chicken with non descript salad you could have thrown together from leftovers in your own fridge.
