So I hadn't had a Mona Lisa classic sub sandwich since I was a kid when my dad would pick one up with a cheese pizza once a week on his way home from work near the Embarcadero. Today we found Mona Lisa on Door Dash and decided why not! And Wow! The first bite brought back all those childhood memories, spending time with my folks, now both long gone, and remembering how lucky we are to have longtime old-school Italian places like Mona Lisa in our city. We also ordered 17. Porchetta and 11. Caprese. All three sandwiches were excellent. So so good, especially the bread! Thank you, Mona Lisa, for still being in Little Italy and providing such a wonderful trip down memory lane for me to share with my family. We may get back on a weekly schedule like my dad!

Sandwiches are always delicious and fresh. Had the 18. Spicy Special this time and got mozzarella added to it. Delicious and balanced, wasnt really spicy. Couple things: would love to be able to enter special instructions through this app (just want to order it with no mayo, but can't currently) and adding the mozzarella did make the sandwich a bit soggy because of how much water it was letting off. I inhaled that thing though, so wasn't an issue for long.

We were looking for a late night deli sandwich and weren't hopeful, but miracles happen. Mona Lisa blew my taste buds away. The Delux- ahmazing. Thank you Mona Lisa for satisfying my craving.
