I had a Haitian griot meal with rice and beans, and it was delicious. The pork was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and well-seasoned. The rice and beans were flavorful and paired perfectly. My little brother tried it too, he liked it, which says a lot! The real star was the lemonade...10 out of 10, super refreshing. Definitely worth trying again.

The griot was crispy on the outside and tender inside seasoned just right with that bold, savory flavor you want from Haitian fried pork. The rice and beans were fluffy and flavorful, not too dry, and soaked up the pikliz and juices perfectly. The beef patty had that golden flaky crust with a spicy, well-seasoned filling that hit as soon as you bit in. Definitely a plate that satisfies.

I was really excited to try this spot, and while there were a few things I liked, overall the experience was just okay.
The pork (griot) was decent—flavorful, but not as crispy or bold as I expected. The rice was fine, not bad, just not super memorable. I ordered a side expecting the classic marinade, but was given acra instead, which was a little disappointing since it wasn’t what I was looking for. The acra itself wasn’t great—kind of bland and not really worth the extra charge. The green sauce also caught me off guard, and while I know some people like it, it just wasn’t my vibe.

I purchased the chicken and hotdog patties and theyre both supposed to have eggs and only the hotdog one did but barely. Actually, the hot dog one was really empty and was cut open. Chicken was a bit salty but over good. I'd purchase again on a really hungry day. But maybe I just expected more because im Haitian and i usually eat them stuffed from anywhere else. 8/10
