Now and Zen is my favorite sushi restaurant in all of Charlottesville and I highly recommend it if you enjoy sushi. You can seperate them by the way they make the sushi because the rolls seem much bigger than the regular rolls at other places.

The handmade spicy dumplings completely blew my mind, and I consider myself a dumpling / soosh aficionado. My lawd, just look at those beauties! And somehow, they taste even better than they look !?!
The rolls were their standard slammin' selves, but I do so much appreciate that they accommodate my additions to rolls even when ordering the 3 roll combo. So, what you are looking at is:
1) Shrimp tempura w mango, cucumber & avocado
2) Spicy maui roll (tuna, avo, mango)
3) Salmon, avo, cream cheese

Outside of Thailand, this place is the best sushi I have ever had, hands down..and their attention to detail doesn't hurt. I ordered the triple combo with spicy tuna (top of first pic), spicy maui (tuna, avo, mango; bottom of first pic), & spicy shrimp tempura but added avo, cucumber and cream cheese (in the special notes, mind you!) and they went above and beyond. The rolls are thick & packed to the brim. I have only treated myself twice, so I cannot speak to the entire menu, but I'd be hard pressed to think you can go wrong.

Best sushi in town! Now and Zen never disappoints. The Crunch Roll is my favorite. The Philly (Smoked Salmon, Avocado & Cream Cheese) had the best smoked salmon.

This place has amazing sushi and I order from here a couple times a week. The sushi is really big bites and is much bigger than any other rolls ive had around the world. Ill continue to spend my money here for a very long time.
