Omg this place is 10 stars..I finally found a restaurant with perfect yams they not stringy..the macaroni is bomb and the ribs my lawd...gotta say THANK YOU TO THE COOK..if you like soul food this the spot..

I had the smothered pork chops, rice, Mac and cheese, yams, greens and corn bread. Everything was absolutely delicious. The gravy was flavorful, the Mac and cheese is cheesy and the rice even had some spice to it. It's my second time ordering from this store and both times it was absolutely delicious and enough for me to have seconds.

Everything was top tier. Ribs were hot, nice amount of sauce and meat was tender. Macaroni had the Perfect amount of cheese, Greens had a lot of flavor.Ordered a mixed kool-aid and it was a 10/10 for me! Im a repeat customer and they never disappoint.

I was disappointed cause my fish was undercooked. The greens were good and had a great flavor. The macaroni was delicious and cheesy. I ordered an extra side but it was forgotten the owner did offer to accommodate me with a replacement. MUST request your fish be fried hard if you don't want it raw or soggy.
