An authentic Nigerian food in the Seattle community, at Pass D Jollof, we cook with the freshest West African ingredients and use traditional recipes passed down from generations.
I live super close to this ghost kitchen, pick up spot and I've been wanting to try it for a while. I really wanted to try their jollof rice since I've never had it before. Personally, the jollof rice was good, but on the dry side (this could be how the dish is, if so, my apologies!) but I decided to also try a new stew with some fufu because it just sounded so good. I never had Efo Riro before but oh my, was it good. SO flavorful!! I'm from SE asia so i love my strong and complex flavors, and i can appreciate all the different exotic cuts of meat included. this was seriously out of this world. and the fufu was so warm and soft too, the perfect texture.
The pickup was super easy, I was kind of shocked. you just walk in and enter your name or order info on a tablet screen (i think you can scan a QR code too if you have one) and then a locker opens up with your meal inside. They did forget my fufu when I went to pick up my order, but I was able to call restaurant while I was there and get that replaced! They were so kind about it and it didn't take long at all.
I think the pricing is a little bit on the expensive side, but I'm honestly not complaining since there's such a lack of african cuisine around seattle anyways. i'm willing to pay a little extra, especially since the quality is so good too.
Overall, I'm so glad that there's a good, authentic african food place near me now. and i'm super excited to order more types of soups and stews. Will be back again!

The ofada barely tastes like ofada and is watery with chunks of random bell peppers floating around. It also comes in a small amount with only a little bit of rice. It was a lot smaller than the egusi which is considerably cheaper and tastes great. This is disappointing because their ofada used to be great in the past.

Amazing Egusi Soup w/Chicken! Perfect consistency. I wasn't expecting to see cow insides. Normally, I don't like that, but these guys cooked it just right to where I can enjoy. Feel like I was back in Nigeria enjoying the same dish. Fufu could have been a little more stiff, but it was still good. Nice to have this place around when I'm at work, and hubby doesn't want to cook. I will be making him jealous now. Besides, I think these guys did better than him anyway.

I've been ordering a lot from here for a while. No major complaints really. I feel as though the price is a little high but it's understandable with the doordash tax, but I would like to see the portions increase as a result. The quantity of the rice and the Soup (Okra and Egusi) is good . But would like to see the the quantity of things like the Fufu increase, since that is $5 but the quantity is little.
I commented on the plantain a while back and the owners acted upon it and improved it immensely so hoping they do the same here. Keep it up!
