• DoorDash orderI decided to try Sahara after seeing a local post about how the owner treated a homeless man with such kindness and generosity. The owner asked if he was hungry and made him a plate instead of "kicking him out" of the restaurant - that kind of compassion deserves support.
I’m so glad I gave this place a try! The food was absolutely amazing – flavorful, large portions, and a great price point. It also arrived super fast. I added more items to the order last minute (with 6 minutes left), but it was too late, so I ended up with two dashers for one order – still, everything arrived perfectly.
This might just become my go-to DoorDash spot when I’m working downtown. Highly recommend giving them a try!

• DoorDash orderI have gotten take out from Sahara several times as they are right round the corner from my place. I gotta say, they are the kindest, most hard working folks. The food tastes absolutely amazing ive tried several of their dishes, but my favorite are the dolmas, baba gannoush and Sahara Entrée Plate. I prefer the chicken shawarma, but all the meats are delish. Thank you for being a kind, familiar, delicious place for me to go and not spend too much money. You're appreciated!

• DoorDash reviewThe food and value here are excellent! They have never let me down with my gyros, and they have generous portions when I switch it up and have their combination plates. I also can't say enough about how amazing the people here are. I study at the University nearby and stop in often, and they are always good to me and let me study and do work there when I need.

• DoorDash orderThe Hummous w/Shawarmah was wonderful and a great sharing plate with plenty of pita. The Chicken Tika Kabob Sandwich is amazing and will likely be my new go to as have always loved the Chicken Shawarmah Sandwich it's an awesome change

• DoorDash orderThe Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Bar is expensive, but it is worth it for an unusual treat (and for the meme value). A big, thick filled bar. Well-tempered chocolate and well constructed. Clearly made with care. The filling is really interesting, and it keeps the crispness with the pistachio taste. I'm glad I tried it, even if I wouldn't get it regularly.
